My Design Story
I began my career in project management at a major ergonomic furniture manufacturer, where I learned how to navigate stakeholders, keep projects on track, and move complex work from concept to completion. It also taught me something unexpected: how deeply our environments shape the way we live, work, and feel.
Even while thriving in that role, I felt a pull toward transforming spaces. I remodeled my own home, helped friends with renovations, and realized that the skills I’d honed - communication, organization, problem‑solving - translated naturally into design and construction.
That curiosity and drive became a career. I joined a boutique renovation company as a designer and learned the construction side of the industry from the ground up. A few years later, I co‑founded a residential design studio, where I combined everything I love about design with the operational strengths I built earlier in my career. Concept creation, project execution, business operations, client relationships - I’ve had a hand in all of it, and I love the blend of creativity and structure it brings.
